Warren Christie Moffett died November 10, 1989 at Boston, MA. Following graduation from Harvard Law School, he worked briefly helping with a book on international taxation and investment at the Law School; entered the U.S. Coast Guard in January, 1955, served two years as deck officer on Ocean Weather Patrol Cutter and one year as recruiting and legal officer in Boston; released in February, 1958; appointed Assistant to Senate Counsel, Massachusetts State Senate; resigned December, 1958.

Chris Moffett was an elegant chap who had a beautiful tenor voice. I think he sort of tolerated the rest of us who weren’t so good. And standards that were beyond our capability, but always good company and very civilized.
