Thomas Laird Morgan, “Tim,” Stamford CT passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. Born February 4, 1939 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Son of Thomas Francis Morgan and Clarice Young Morgan. Loving Husband to Marie Louise Crump Morgan on October 6, 1990 on the beach of Marblehead Neck, they were happily married for 26 years.

Education: Deerfield Academy Class of 1956 and Harvard University Class of 1960.

Tim played Varsity Soccer and Varsity Lacrosse player at Harvard University and was Marine Lieutenant from 1963-64. His employment included: Divisional Vice President at Saks Fifth Avenue, joined G-Fox and Company as Divisional VP of Home Furnishings in Hartford, CT, Wamsutta as Head of Marketing and Promotion, became Sax Fifth Avenue as Divisional Vice President of Home Furnishings, was an entrepreneur launching a series of retail stores (Morgan & Company) specializing in home furnishings and British Antiques stories, Bloomingdale’s Vice President of Home Furnishings in Chesnut Hill MA. In his later years he was Director and Head of marketing and promotion for “Lulu’s Southern Pies” founded by his wife Marie-Louise.

Tim and his wife have lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida. Tim was a great lover of all sports; basketball, football, tennis, golf, paddle, squash, lacrosse, soccer. He enjoyed water sports at an early age while vacationing with his family on Martha’s Vinyard as a young boy. He enjoyed cooking on the grill, a good walk with Marie Louise and Calli-dog, as well as a good movie or mystery novel while sitting in his favorite chair. His Favorite actors; Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, James Bond 007, Chuck Norris, Tom Selleck. Tim had a wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include his loving wife Marie Louise and her beloved boys Hugh Allan, (Andrea) Frank Allan, (Catherine) and Mark Allan, (Ashley) Allan,
his former wife Sandra Morgan and daughter Elizabeth Laird Tolan, (James) and son Tadhg Runyan Morgan, (Paula), Beloved Grandfather of 13; Jamie, Morgan and Owen Tolan, Hugh and Alexander Allan, Frank Allan Jr, Alexandra, Ian and Patrick Morgan, Trigg, Halsey, and Amelia Allan, Augusta Allan. As well as his special dog Callie and feline friend Sandy.
