JOHN HENRY BELKNAP ’50, of Durham, N.H., died July 5, 2003. Retired from a long career in market research, he worked for National Geographic and Fortune magazines in New York City before founding his own firm, Belknap Data Solutions. He served in the army during the Korean War. He was an avid sailor and shell collector, a gourmet cook, and a creator of word puzzles. He leaves his wife, Gretchen (Dykema) ’52, two daughters, Linda Schier and Sara Gordon, a son, Peter ’74, and a sister, Anne Wachsman ’54.
