GEORGE SLOAN OLDBERG died March 12, 1966, at Chicago, Illinois, where he was born August 12, 1936, the son of Eric and Hilda (Edwards) Oldberg. He prepared at Chicago Latin School and Milton Academy before coming to Harvard where he received an A.B. in 1959, as of our Class. He served as a lieutenant (j.g.) on the destroyer Forrest Royal of the Sixth Fleet. In 1962, he was employed by the Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company in Chicago, and at the time of our Sexennial Report he was a banker in training in the Commercial Loan Department. His wife, the former Joanne Winkenwerder, Radcliffe ’60, whom he married July 7, 1962, survived him.
