Charles L. Miltonberger A resident of Grayslake for 40 years A funeral service for Mr. Charles L. Miltonberger, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at United Protestant Church, 54 S. Whitney, Grayslake. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville, following the service. Friends of the family may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, at Strang Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Born Oct. 5, 1930, in Battle Creek, Mich., to George and Ruth Miltonberger, he passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at the Bernard Mitchell Hospital in Chicago. An Army veteran and member of the OC 28 Association, Charles was a member of United Protestant Church and worked in the floral business all his life. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Mildred Miltonberger. He was the loving father of Paul (Joan) Miltonberger, Tom Miltonberger and Neil (Melissa) Miltonberger; proud grandfather of Andy, Amy and Matt Miltonberger, and one on the way; and brother of Suzanne Hill. He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; brother, Robert Miltonberger; and his in-laws, Stanley and Edna Hansen.
